Each
year the International and Canadian CEC recognize
the outstanding contributions of CEC members,
classroom teachers and administrators, students
and others who have made outstanding contributions
to special education. We also honor the progress
and achievement of exceptional children.
Canadian Awards presented annually:
Teacher
of the Year Award
The
CCEC Teacher of the Year Award recognizes a CEC
member who currently provides direct service to
students with exceptionalities.

Grant Warren Outstanding Achievement Award
Individual, group or organization
for outstanding contribution to the well being
of exceptional children and youth.

John McIntosh Chapter Award
To a CEC chapter in recognition of its outstanding
activities during the preceding year or over a
period of years.

Individual or group who have published an article,
