MEDIA
AWARD
Guidelines:
1. The Canadian Council for Exceptional Children
Media Award shall be presented to a person or
group of persons who have promoted greater awareness
of exceptional learners and/or The Council for
Exceptional Children in Canada.
2. Nominations shall be restricted to media produced
in the previous two years.
3. Submissions require:
a) the inclusion of a minimum of one copy of the
product.
b) a statement outlining perceived national significance
of the media production to promote awareness of
exceptional learners and/or The CCEC.
c) a statement describing the intended audience's
anticipated use and plan for distribution of the
media production.
4. One or more nominees may be selected to receive
the Award.
5. In the absence of nominations that meet the
specific criteria, the Award may not be presented.
6. The Award shall be a Certificate.
7. Three copies of the nomination form and all
supporting documentation must be received no later
than the last day of January.
8. With the permission of the authors, a copy
of The Canadian Council for Exceptional Children
Media Award winning submission shall remain the
property of The CCEC and will remain on file in
the resource library.
